German track equipment supplier Robel is doubling production capacity at its Freilassing facility in south Germany, to meet the increasing orders for export market and sub-contracted work from its parent company Plasser & Theurer.
Freilassing is busy working on the first two of eight type 57.44 self-propelled inspection vehicles for a big European operator and 22 type 40.44 rail loading trains for Swiss Federal Railways.
The company will also soon deliver two pairs of multi-purpose type 54.17 works vehicles.
