Italian conglomerate Finmeccanica SpA and Bombardier could join forces to build a new generation of high-speed trains, according to Italian newspaper daily Corriere della Sera.
The partnership between Finmeccanica's unit AnsaldoBreda and Bombardier Transportation is expected to be announced this week.
