Bombardier Teams Up With Russians

05 December 2007

Canadian-based transportation company Bombardier has announced it is holding talks with Russian rail manufacturer Transmashholding concerning its third joint venture in less than a year.

Bombadier says it is in "very preliminary" talks with Transmashholding with regards to a new project.

The two parties announced their agreement to invest in two other joint ventures last May, including a project to manufacture traction converters.

They have also previously invested €12.5m in propulsion technology on rail projects.
