UK Train Punctuality at 10-Year High

UK rail infrastructure firm Network Rail says train punctuality is at a 10-year high.

The company says in the six months to the end of September punctuality rose to 90.87 percent, bringing the 12-month average to 88.8 percent.

The UK Government has set Network Rail a target of 92.6 percent punctuality by 2014.

Network Rail also reported pre-tax profit for the period increased to £780m, while income rose 3.4 percent to £3bn.
