Radio communication provider EADS has won a contract to install digital radio systems on northeast China's first metro line.
Working with Chinese software company Shenyang Neusoft, EADS Secure Networks will provide the Shenyang Metro with its Tetra-brand radios together with training and technical support services.
Shenyang Metro will be the first metro line in the Liaoning Province in northeast China.
Its Line 1 and Line 2 extensions are currently under construction with Line 1 scheduled for completion in the first half of 2010.
