European materials company Diab has launched a new range of fire protective materials for use on train panels and flooring.
The recyclable thermoplastic material Divinycell P offers protection from fire, smoke and toxicity and can be used for thermal insulation, the company says.
Diab, which is showcasing its range of thermoplastic materials at this year's Railway Interiors Expo in Germany, says Divinycell P is compatible with all commonly used resin systems and can be manufactured to meet specific processing requirements.
