French transport manufacturer Alstom and UK-based engineering and construction company Balfour Beatty have officially launched a joint venture to provide new signalling technology to the UK and Irish markets.
Signalling Solutions will offer services in planning, design, product supply, installation, testing and commissioning for all types of railways.
The company is currently responsible for several multi-million pound contracts for UK rail company Network Rail, including the re-signaling several UK-wide rail networks.
