Nigerian Rail to Link Country

03 October 2007

Nigerian towns, villages, seaports and airports will be linked by new rail connections, the Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) has announced.

"All routes are set to be linked for efficient service delivery," managing director of the NRC Jetson Nwankwo told local journalists in the capital Lagos.

While details of the project were not disclosed, the NRC said the links would be complete in 25 years, according to African news site allafrica.com.
