Greek Rail Line Goes High-Speed

A new 98km suburban railway line opened between Greece's city of Thessaloniki and town of Litohoro on Sunday.

The average journey on the €50m link now takes 55mins, with the electrically powered service travelling 150km/h.

It is expected 3,000 passengers per day will use the service.
