Indian Station to Get Security Upgrade

A railway station in India will recieve biometric identification and closed-circuit television cameras, according to Indian railway officials.

South Western Railway station in Bangalore will get all its systems upgraded as part of a precautionary security upgrade.

Biometric identification systems, which require the thumb impression of staff to be validated by a computer system, will replace existing identity card-based security systems at the station.
