Network Rail, owner and operator of the UK's rail infrastructure, has signed a five-year deal with IT services company Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) which will see them manage their IT requirements.
The deal will include support for Oracle enterprise resource planning, server maintenance and management, data centre hosting, security, disaster recovery and information storage with 70 Network Rail staff moving to CSC to carry out the contract.
