Bullet Trains between Chinese Cities Commence Operations

High-speed bullet trains have commenced operations linking Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu and Chongqing in China in order to reduce the journey time between the cities to about 15 hours.

A bullet train between Chengdu and Beijing West Railway Station connects the Suining-Chengdu line, the Dazhou-Chengdu line, and the Beijing-Guangzhou line and has two stops at stations in Nanchong and Shijiangzhuang.

Another bullet train from Chengdu to Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station links the Suining-Chengdu line, the Hefei-Wuhan line, and the Shanghai-Ningbo line and has four intermediate stops at Nanchong, Hefei, Nanjing and Suzhou.

A bullet train also commenced between Chongqing and Shanghai, reducing the travel time between the two cities by 13 hours, according to chinahospitalitynews.com.
