Hollysys Automation Technologies has won a $33.6m contract to supply a ground-based rail signalling system to the Beijing-Shijiazhuang-Wuhan high-speed rail line in China.
It will also supply train control centres, line side electronic units and other auxiliary equipment.
The 1,200km Beijing-Shijiazhuang-Wuhan high-speed rail line is the northern portion of the Beijing-Guangzhou high-speed route, connecting Beijing, Shijiazhuang in Hebei province, and Wuhan in Hubei province.
The southern portion of the 1,068km Beijing-Guangzhou line between Wuhan and Guangzhou has been in operation since December 2009.
The deliveries and installations are expected to be between March and October 2011.
