Bombardier and China's Ministry of Railways have signed a memorandum of understanding to collaborate in the development of rail rolling stock and signalling applications for mainline and regional railways in China.
The parties agreed to further their partnership on the development of product platforms for high-speed and very high-speed rail and plan to extend the development of products for regional trains, if necessary.
Under the agreement, China Railway Signal and Communication Corporation will be Bombardier's partner to jointly develop various products, including signalling systems, to meet the requirements of China and international markets.
