Sheerness - Modern Railways

At noon on the 28th March 2005, the first test train was run over the new signalling on the Sheerness branch resignalling scheme with the full branch line and signal box control panel being signed into service 14 hours later. This was the culmination of a 100 hour blockade possession for the final (main) commissioning stage and a project which started its development phase in October 2001.
