RIFTEK Uploads New White Paper about Portable Rail Profilometer

RIFTEK, a private enterprise specializing in the development and fabrication of electronic instrumentation for measuring geometrical, magnetic, mechanical and optical quantities, provides a portable rail profilometer (PRP).
This instrument is designed for non-contact registration of the cross-section of the railhead acting face. It is used for the estimation of railhead cross-sections' state of repair, for the purpose of planning the necessary volume of profile-grinding work as well as control of the quality of rail-grinding trains and successful functioning of rail-grinding equipment.
