GAI-Tronics Introduces New Features for its VoIP Telephones

10 June 2010

GAI-Tronics in the UK is proud to announce several new features and improvements in its range of rugged VoIP telephones.

Each VoIP telephone now has two programmable isolated relays that can be set to activate external devices such as beacons, SCADA inputs or CCTV triggers. Each relay is capable of switching mains voltages if required and can be triggered by email and/or syslog. The text included in the syslog or email messages can be user defined.

Furthering the GAI-Tronics approach of implementing stable and failure-resilient products has led to the implementation of support for multiple server redundancy. In the event of a server failure, the GAI-Tronics VoIP telephone can be configured to 'fail over' without interruption to one or more backup servers.
