Atkins Rail Training Centre is Changing Track

20 June 2006

The Atkins Rail training centre will be relocating from its current location in Waterloo to a new office in Vauxhall from 19 June, 2006. The centre is responsible for delivering Network Rail, LUL, passport and health and safety training.

The new centre has four large purpose-designed classrooms, all fitted with ceiling-mounted projectors with an extra classroom for smaller groups. Support staff currently located at Croydon and Waterloo are also part of the move, bringing the Atkins Rail southern training team together.

Julie Hirons, Atkins Safety Training manager, says, "We are excited about the new training centre. We will benefit from larger classrooms, all professionally equipped and still in the centre of London with excellent transport links. This will help us increase the course range and volume we can offer to clients, especially for London Underground and specialist Network Rail Courses."
