MTR Seeks to Appoint Signalling Trainers, Traction and Rolling Stock Trainers and LUL Trainers

MTR was established in 1995 and has grown to be the leading independent training provider in the UK. Now an integral part of the Hydrex group of companies, MTR Training has a solid reputation for developing and delivering an excellent standard of training. Due to our continued expansion we are seeking to appoint the following positions.

Signalling Trainer

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced S & T trainer. Initially based at our Derby S & T Centre of Excellence, you will be required to work throughout the UK. Experience in preparation and delivery of the following events would be an advantage: signal works testing, signal maintenance testing and a range of basic signalling courses. We would also be interested to hear from experienced technicians who may wish to become trainers in the future.

Traction and Rolling Stock Trainer

As part of our growth strategy we are looking for traction and rolling stock trainers / assessors. You should ideally have HST and DMU experience. These positions will also offer the opportunity to be developed into other training areas.

For both of the positions above the ideal candidates should hold a recognised training and assessment qualification, these being City and Guilds 7331/7302 and either D32/33 or A1.

LUL Trainer

The latest addition to our portfolio of training is London Underground accredited courses. The position will be based in the south of England and will require candidates to have experience and accreditation of training LUL specific courses such as entry permit and track accustomed.
