Rhätische Bahn and Swisscross

Rhätische Bahn trusts in Swisscross high quality rubber level crossings. In the station of Chur, two metric tracks were reconstructed and a new diagonal crossing for carts over two tracks was installed. In this area, there were many cables and electrical distribution boxes that required some rectifications of the rubber elements.
Thanks to the easy and quick installation method, both crossings could be layed within hours. The wear resistant rubber elements have a groove underneath. Lifting the elements with a hook they bend and are quickly assembled without special tools or joint bars. In combination with asphalt between the crossings Rhätische Bahn presents now a silent, comfortable and attractive crossing for official railway vehicles.
