Rosenqvist appoints Vortok as its Distributor for Equipment in the UK and Ireland

Rosenqvist Rail of Sweden, recently acquired by the Pandrol Group, has appointed its sister company Vortok International as its distributor for its equipment in the UK and Ireland. Vortok will be supplying a range of clipping machines, sleeper handling equipment, road-rail converters and rail thimbling rollers to maintenance and renewal teams to further improve their efficiency and safety.
John Pettitt, Vortok’s UK sales manager, said: "The Rosenqvist clipping machines complement Vortok’s existing track related products, especially in the area of rail stressing, where Vortok has recently made great advances with the industry and these machines will help everyone save even more time and cost in the future. The sleeper layers will certainly be useful with smaller renewals and larger maintenance work."
Anders Rosenqvist, the company's founder, is also delighted with the new arrangement, as he sees the innovative culture of both companies fitting together perfectly. He feels that Vortok will be best placed to provide the customer with even better service and support.
Rosenqvist would like to take the opportunity to thank Universal Rail for its support in the initial introduction of Rosenqvist products into the UK market.
