ABB Switzerland Successfully Passes IRIS Recertification

ABB Switzerland has successfully passed its recertification to the International Railway Industry Standard (IRIS). IRIS is a promotion of the Union of European Railway Industries (UNIFE). It is based on the ISO 9001 standard, but also considers railway-specific requests.
The aim of IRIS is to develop and implement a global system for the evaluation of companies supplying to the railway industry with uniform language, uniform assessment guidelines and mutual acceptance of audits, which will create a high level of transparency throughout the supply chain.
