ACS to Supply COMFLOOR® for New VNS Double-Deck Trains

Airex Composite Structures (ACS) is pleased to announce that the new double-deck trains of the Verkehrsnetz Stadtbahn (VNS) will receive the heatable COMFLOOR, standing for highest passengers comfort.
The 16 new double-deck trains are planned to be put in operation in 2012 on the regional express lines in Berlin and Brandenburg. After the launch of COMFLOOR in the double-deck trains for Swiss Railways (SBB) and the WESTbahn Management of Austria, this is another milestone in the successful market penetration by the COMFLOOR solution.
Besides improved comfort for passengers COMFLOOR convinces especially through its superior life cycle costs (LCC) for operators and massively reduced assembly time for original equipment manufacturer (OEM).
