Out of all companies in Sweden with revenue of more than SEK10m, 353 were selected in 2010 as Super Companies of the year. Veckans Affärer, (translated as Business Weekly) selects the Super Companies of the year by looking at the key figures growth, profit, yield, efficiency, capital structure and financing.
However, it is not enough to satisfy all of the criteria in one year; the company must satisfy all requirements for four years in a row in order to be considered for Super Company of the year. The awarded company must also be better than the average of their competitors in the same business.
In the words of Veckans Affärer: "It is not enough to be the fastest grower or to be extremely profitable. In order to win the title of Super Company of the year, you have to be the best at everything."
"We are thrilled to get the Super Company award for the third consecutive year. The award is extra gratifying since the requirements are tough and it takes a strong company to win the award," says Jerker Hellström CEO and chairman of the Handheld Group.
"Our ambition is to continue our strong growth and to further develop our company. Hopefully, this award is one of many to come over the next couple of years and we aim to be a Super Company next year as well."
