Two Stars For Eland Cables

16 February 2007

Eland Cables is proud to announce its two star status within the Best Companies Accreditation 2007 and its inclusion in the Sunday Times' 'Top 100 Companies to Work For' list.

This valuable accreditation acknowledges and rewards organisations that provide excellent workplaces, excellent workplace practices and great leadership as defined by its own employees. The scheme follows a Michelin-style star system - one star being first class, two stars being outstanding, and three stars being extraordinary.

Eland Cables' company philosophy is to provide talented people with an inspiring and stimulating environment. This results in a winning combination with a tangible benefit: first class customer service. Philip Brown says: "We are delighted at being recognised as a two star company. We felt instinctively that we were doing the right thing in terms of how we treat and develop our people. However, Best Companies gave us the opportunity to formally benchmark our progress and to highlight those areas where we can improve. We aim to achieve three stars in 2008.
