BLS Installs Another Spring Test Press from Nencki at Boenigen Workshop

Following the BLS workshop in Spiez, Switzerland, the workshop of BLS in Boenigen is also introducing a spring test press by Nencki.
BLS, the operator of trains in the area of the tunnel Loetschberg-Basistunnel, Switzerland, sets high standards for the periodic testing of springs.
The transversal spring test allows for an improvement of the running characteristics and reduces the derailing danger. In addition, the vibration and noise can be reduced to a minimum. This can result in reduced operating costs of wheels and rail for BLS.
