IBEG to Exhibit Novelty SF2 Mobile Sand Refilling System at InnoTrans 2010

09 September 2010

IBEG's new SF2 sand refilling system is a modular design and is manufactured to meet the needs of any individual transit authority. Each system is built according to the individual design requirements of the transit authority.

SF2 will grow as the transit authority grows; starting with a SF2 base unit mounted on heavy duty casters, which is easily moved by one person; then increase the capacity with a 60l piggy back unit; then add an automated single station sand filling silo and finally place the SF2 on the payload section of a compact motorized utility vehicle.

The new IBEG SF2 family of mobile sand refilling systems utilizes a method of gentle sand conveying to ensure the sand retains its desired qualities when pumped into the sand container. In addition, the SF2 eliminates the generation of dust.

Highlights of the SF2 mobile sand refilling system include:

  • Inexpensive - very low initial investment
  • Compact - requires very small area of maintenance facility
  • Flexible - sand refilled anytime, anywhere
  • Controlled - sand filler stops when sand container is full
  • Automated - PLC controls filling and monitors safety
  • Environmentally safe - fills sand container without creating dust
  • Sustainable sand quality - sand is not damaged due to handling
  • Modular, grow and go - add capacity, mobility, silos as fleet grows
