On February 1, 2026, at 3:50 PM, a derailment of 21 freight train cars occurred on the Orichi - Shalegovo section of the Gorky Railway. According to preliminary information, this derailment involved 21 freight train cars.

Repair trains have been dispatched to the scene.

There are no injuries.

Due to the derailment of freight train cars on the Orichi - Shalegovo section of the Gorky Railway, five commuter trains are currently delayed.

In addition, the following long-distance trains are currently delayed:

No. 1 Vladivostok - Moscow;
No. 2 Moscow - Vladivostok;
No. 91 Severobaykalsk - Moscow.

Trains are maintained at a comfortable temperature. Passengers on trains delayed for more than four hours will be provided with meals.

As a reminder, on February 1, 2026, at 3:50 PM, 21 cars of a freight train derailed. There were no injuries.
