UAV crash at Krasnodar-Sortirovochny Station, North Caucasus Railway, December 30, 2025

On December 30, at 11:15 a.m., at Krasnodar-Sortirovochny Station, a UAV wreck damaged the railway infrastructure, causing a power outage in the overhead contact system.

As a result of the incident, train No. 817 "Lastochka" (Kavkazskaya - Krasnodar), train No. 114 "Adler - St. Petersburg," and commuter train No. 6730 (Krasnodar - Vasyurinskaya) were delayed for up to one hour.

After inspecting the infrastructure, railway workers began restoring the overhead contact system and are doing everything possible to resume service as soon as possible.
