VL60K electric locomotive: troubleshooting electrical circuits

At the request of our readers, we publish recommendations for the elimination of certain malfunctions in the circuits of VL60K electric locomotives, prepared on the basis of local instructions in a number of depots of Gorky and North Caucasian roads.

SHORT CIRCUIT DAMAGE

As a rule, short circuits in control circuits are accompanied by fuse failure. In some cases, the inserts do not burn out, but the voltage in the CPU decreases.

It is necessary to check whether the fuse has burned out. Before replacing the damaged insert, the main and reversible handles are set to the zero position, and all push-button switches are turned off. After that, turn off the AB switch and change the fuse.

Then the switches and buttons are switched on one at a time and, by moving the handle of the driver's controller, the circuit is determined, when connected, the fuse burns out. The activation sequence is selected on a case-by-case basis.

For example, when checking the sequence of ECG-8 control circuits, the sequence is as follows: switchboard — switches AB, P2, GU; control panel — switch VU, button "Control circuits"; reversible drum KM "Forward" or "Backward", set of controller positions "AB", "RV", "FV", "FP", "RP", "AP".

When controlling the circuits of the OCR5600-25 power transformer, the buttons "Pantographs", "Front pantograph", "Rear Pantograph", "Turn off the GW", "Turn on the GW and return the relay" are turned on on the driver's console. In the case of checking the operation of auxiliary machines, the sequence is as follows: press the buttons "Phase splitters", "Compressors", "Fan-1", "Fan-2", "Fan-3", "Valve-4". It should be remembered that in a specific situation, the positions of the buttons on the parallel operation boards are taken into account. Depending on the importance of the circuit, it is switched off or a replacement circuit is assembled.

Let us consider in more detail the cases of short circuit in various wires.

Wire BUT. After switching on the switch P2 (average on the PC), the fuse of the 60 A battery burns out. In this situation, it is forbidden to use switches P2, VU1, VU2, to press the switches "Radio communication", "Searchlight dim", switches on KU 229 (230) at the assistant driver. The fuses in the wires H45, H46, H47 and H48 are removed. Their lower clips are connected with a jumper and connected to the "plus" of the AB.

It must be remembered that in the described case, you can not use A/1CN. Disconnect the disconnecting taps on the EPC and remove its key. The H93 wire is powered by the E1 wire (the clamp rail of the driver's console). At night, wires H169 (H170), H171 (H172) and E55 (buffer lights) are connected. In addition, they supply power to the H95 (H96) wire and turn on only the "Spotlight bright" button from the E1 wire.

Wire H83. When the VU is turned on, the 45 A fuse burns out (the "Control circuit" button is pressed). WU, the control panel button is not turned on, the fuse from the H49 wire on the switchboard is removed. Then they supply power from the NO wire to the wire 31 on the rails of the terminals of the driver's console and from the "plus" AB to the wire H49 (from the left knife of the switch to the lower lever of the fuse CM).

Wire H49. When the power supply unit is turned on, the fuse on the control panel burns out. After opening the CM terminal box, remove the wire tips from the LU1 terminal and the wire tip J9 from the fixed contact 208.

Then the fuse is removed from the control panel by 25 A. Power is supplied from wire E1 to terminal LU1 and from wire E55 to fixed contact 208. In this case, it is necessary to increase the setpoint current of the fuse in the E55 wire located on the console of the cabin assistant 1.

Wire E1. When the CPU button is pressed, the 45A VU insert burns out. The way out depends on the type of ECG. If the ECG-8J is installed on the electric locomotive, then isolate the controller's finger in the E1 — H1 (H2) wires, and do not turn on the control panel button.

Then isolate the three "fingers" on the ECG coming from the wire E1, the upper locking shaft on the side of the PC GP4 (E1 — N539), GPpoe.2 (H28 — E1), GPpoe.2 (H27 —E1), GPP1 — 32 (E1 — N539), lower locking shaft. A jumper is installed from wire E15 to wire H539 (from the lower locking shaft to the upper one).

After that, relays 265, 266 are forcibly switched on, wires E15, E7 are connected with a jumper. In this case, the positions are manually dialed and reset, locking them when dialed at the "FP" position, and reset to "FB". In the "RP" and "RV" positions, the ECG is performed automatically.,

If an EKG-8D is installed on the locomotive, the exit order changes slightly. So, on the ECG, the "fingers" going from the E1 wire to the GPpr1 and GPpr2 locks are isolated. A jumper from the E15 wire is connected to the connecting bridge of any pair of GPpr. On panel 3, wires H37, H38 are connected. On the ECG, wires H27, H28 are isolated from wire E1 (GPpoe.2).

Short circuit in wires, except for E1, E8, H40, E66. In this case, the VU insert burns out. When driving with one electric locomotive, the driver's controller handles are reset to the zero position, the fuse is changed, and relay 263 is manually switched on.

Then the motor pump is turned off, the "Low oil temperature" button is not used. Jumpers are installed between wires E55 and Nb on the BSA, E36 and E66 in the console, E8 and N169 (N170) in the cabin.

The reversers are manually deployed and the negative wire is removed from the coils. Positions should be gained and dropped by briefly pressing the "Sand" button. When resetting, you must turn off the "Flashlight" button.

Wire E8. After setting the main handle of the controller to the "AF" position, the VU insert burns out at 45 A. To get out of position, isolate the ECG blockages of the GLP in wires E9, NZZ and E9, H34 (three contacts), the controller finger in wires H1 (H2) — E8.

By setting the RCM to the "RP" position, positions are gained and maintained until the ECG approaches a fixed position. Positions P1 — P5 are set and reset automatically. On a single electric locomotive, the contactor 206 can be switched on using a dry, durable cord (not a wire!) passed through the curtain of the VVC. First, isolate the "finger" H1 — E8 of the controller.

Short circuit in wires, except E1, E8. The LCS are turned off, the ECG is in the stopper, the auxiliary machines are working, the 45 A VU insert burns out. First, the insert is changed, the controller handle and the ECG are set to the zero position by pressing the contactor 208.

Then the wire 366 is removed from the "plus" of the coil 208, the contact of the GPpr EKG-8J is isolated, to which the wire H40 fits (on the ECG-8D, two contacts are isolated, to which wires H37, H38 are connected). A jumper is installed from the connecting bus of any GPpr contact to the positive terminal of coil 208. In addition, a temporary conductor is connected to it from wire E36 with BSA1.

Turn off the button of the SCHPR 228 motor pump, the "Low oil temperature" button is not used. On one ie BSA, wires 355 and H6 are connected by a jumper. Manually turn the reversers to the desired position and disconnect the negative wires from their coils. Then the jumper wires H169 (H170) and E8 are connected in the cabin. This makes it possible for contactor 206 to operate.

To gain and reset positions, briefly press the "Sand" button. When the controller passes the GP — P5 position, the button is held longer. It should be remembered that when dialing, the "Right buffer lamp" button is turned on, and when resetting, it is turned off.

If, after installing the E55 — H6 jumper, the VU insert burns out, then it is necessary to isolate the OD1 — OD6 interlocks in the wires H13 — H15, H13 — H16, H13 — HI, H14 — H18, H14 — H19, H14 — H20. In addition, the H15 — H20 wires are powered by the E55 wire.

Wire E11. When the reversing handle is set to the "Forward" or "Backward" position and the main handle is in the zero position, the fuse in the control unit blows out. In order not to confuse this feature with the electrical circuit in the H1 (H2) wire, it is necessary to insulate the contact in the H1 (H2) — E11 wire circuit of the driver's controller. If the fuse does not blow out, then the fuse is in the E11 wire.

In this case, the insulation is left in the named contact and the opening lock of the contactor 206 is additionally isolated in the wires H542 — H40, the contacts of the GPP ECG in the wires NZZ — E9, N34 — E9. Then they supply power from the E36 wire to the E66 wire of the terminal rails of the control panel. In this case, the positions are dialed and reset using the "Sand" button, having previously used the positions of the controller "FP" and "FB".

Wire E7. When the controller handle is set to the "AB" position, the fuse blows. First of all, they make sure that K.E. is in this wire. To do this, isolate the contact H2 (H1) — E7. If the insert does not burn, it means that wire 3 is damaged.

Then, in addition to contact H2 (H1) — E7, contacts H5 — H6 of contactors 136 are isolated. The H6 wire is powered by the E55 wire (BSA1 or BSA2). Then the reversers are manually deployed, having previously connected the "W" wire. The RE protection will not work.

Wire H60. When the "Phase splitters" button is pressed on the remote control, they start and stop, and the fuse in the H46 wire burns out. In this case, the closing lock of the 750 H59 — H60 speed relay is isolated, the intermediate relays 233, 234 are wedged on panels 1, 2. After that, the phase splitters are started in the usual order.

Wire H101. When the "Phase Splitters" button is turned on, the fuse in the H46 wire burns out. Turn off the "Phase divider" button on panel 227 and turn on the corresponding button on the driver's console. The second phase separator will start and work normally.

Wire H102. After pressing the "Phase splitters" button on the remote control, the first one starts and stops, and the fuse in the H46 wire burns out. Turn off the "Phase splitter" button on the shield 228 and turn on the button on the remote control again. The first phase separator will start and work normally.
